Tidy Trucking Ltd. is a locally owned and family operated company that has been providing fluid hauling services to Fort St. John, B.C. and surrounding area since 1995. President Mike Wolsey brings over 40 years of experience in the fluid handling industry to Tidy Trucking Ltd.
Tidy has always been a family orientated company. When Mike Wolsey, his brother Randy, and his father Tom, purchased Tidy Trucking Ltd. back in 1995, there was only one company truck and a couple of trailers that came with the purchase of the company. They quickly combined their equipment from previous business ventures to compile a fleet of 5 truck and trailer units. Tidy continued to grow, prosper and diversify its fleet by continuing to add more tank trucks, owner operators, as well as their first piece of specialty equipment, a pressure truck.
In 2003, Randy and Tom directed their attention to other areas of the oil and gas industry, and Mike became sole owner of Tidy Trucking Ltd. In 2004, Mike’s children Karma and Trapper became employees of Tidy Trucking. Trapper began his career at Tidy by operating both tank trucks and the pressure truck. Karma joined the team as Tidy’s first official Safety Administrator and secured Tidy’s COR certification. In 2006, Trapper and Karma joined the management team, Trapper moved into the office and became the lead dispatcher and Karma moved into the finance department and became Tidy’s office manager. In 2016, Mike’s youngest child Clayton joined the family business and can be found behind the wheel of one of the tankers or vac trucks.
As the business has grown, Tidy Trucking Ltd. has searched for, hired and maintained an exceptional group of long term employees that also bring a vast amount of experience and knowledge to our business.
Today, Mike, Trapper and Karma are still working together as a team operating one of the longest standing family-owned and operated trucking companies in the Peace Region.
